SITE » SITE HISTORY
This particular site is still very, very new, but it's certainly not the first Lita/Amy Dumas site I've done. My first ever Lita site was started on Angelfire.com on March 7, 2001 and was called "Awesome Amy - A Tribute to Amy Dumas aka Lita." It was nothing special and I wasn't that good at webdesigning or HTML back then, and it was done completely in Netscape Composer. I worked on it for a few months and had a few other sites as well, and before long, it began to get neglected. Then, in the first quarter of 2003, I decided to revamp the site. At this point, my webdesigning skills had improved somewhat, and I made a nicer layout, and I even moved the site to my domain, adam-on-the-edge.net and hosted it there. I had also changed the name of it and dubbed it "Candy Perfume Girl" after one of Madonna's songs. Don't ask me why I chose that name - I just DID! (And, oddly enough, I found out last year that there had actually been ANOTHER Lita/Amy Dumas site by the EXACT SAME name. Go figure!).

At this point, CPG was doing pretty well, and I updated it more regularly over the months. I was hosting someone else who was also doing a Lita site and got permission to use her screencaps, so the site was going nicely. I added more content, got several nice affiliates, and had plans to make the site even bigger and better. By late winter 2003/early spring of 2004, my graphics skills got even better, and the site had its best layout yet. But then I started having major problems with my webhost and ended up leaving them to switch to another. When my domain went offline, I ended up losing a lot of stuff from the site (and most of my others as well). Due to that, I decided not to start CPG up again once I moved to the new space.

Over the last few months, I got hit with the urge to open up yet another Lita/Amy site. Anyone who knows me knows that she is my favorite WWE diva, and she is discussed quite a lot on my Edge site, Adam-On-The-Edge.net and forum alike. Finally, I gave in and started up Always Amy. I have been working diligently on the site and hope to make it one of the best Amy Dumas/Lita sites on the web! The site is now domained with Always-Amy.com as the redirection. The domain name was purchased on April 19, 2006 as a sort of present to myself.
