Only You

She scowled to herself as she sat alone at a small table in the catering room.

Across the room sat the two lovebirds, the pair making eyes at each other across the table. It sickened the woman, though she felt relieved they weren't doing anything as disgusting as feeding each other.

Torrie Wilson tried not to look too conspicuous as she eyed Edge and Lita.

Damn it, she *hated* the redhead... What in hell did *Lita* have that was so special? She had that disgusting tongue piercing, to say nothing of the huge, hideous tattoo on her right shoulder. What man would find those things attractive? And then, of course, Lita knew *nothing* about fashion sense. She was notorious for wearing bulky, baggy cargos and parachute pants, mesh and see-through tops with holes cut out in the arms, and shorts in ugly colors such as beige, olive green and black. And who could forget the boring sneakers and masculine-looking combat boots she favored? There was basically nothing girly about the woman - she was a total tomboy.

All those things considered, why in hell would Edge - or *any* guy, for that matter, want a woman like Lita when he could have a *real* woman like *her*? She was blonde, sexy, hot, beautiful and elegant. She was a true girl's girl... How could he ever resist her?

Torrie sighed resignedly and placed her head in her hands, elbows propped up on the table. It nearly broke her heart... She was about to give up all hope of the idea that had been brewing in her mind for the last day or two.

Suddenly, she was no longer alone at her table - but she barely took notice of the new occupant as Edge and Lita rose from their own and started making their way out of the room.

"Sucks that those two got together, huh?"

The platinum blonde turned her head reluctantly back to face the person who'd spoken. It was none other than Triple H, the burly man reaching across the table to steal a carrot stick off of her plate.

"Huh?"

The self-proclaimed Game shrugged.

"Lita and 'What's His Name'..." he said with a scowl. He really wasn't in much of a mood to speak the blond bastard's name.

"You mean Edge?" Torrie asked.

Triple H smirked. The blonde diva was not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer, from what he'd heard. Now, judging by her question, he saw this first-hand.

"Yeah..." he said. "That's who I mean."

Torrie's expression grew sad - crestfallen, actually.

"Yeah," she agreed. "Too bad..."

The muscular man watched the blonde for a beat, the wheels of his mind working furiously.

"Hey... you want Edge for yourself, don't you?"

"Wh-what?" Torrie's blue eyes grew wide at his bold statement, and she gazed around furtively, as though making sure there was no one around who could be in earshot. The last thing she needed was for the wrong person to hear what Hunter had just spoken aloud. Lita and Edge had a *lot* of friends - friends who wouldn't hesitate to give her grief if they knew the truth... However, to her relief, she realized they were now the only two people in the catering room. She breathed out an audible sigh.

"Well...?" Triple H eyed her expectantly.

The blonde crossed her arms over her chest as she met his gaze.

"So what if I do?"

The man shrugged.

"Just wondering... And mostly because *I* want Lita..."

The diva arched an eyebrow at the candidness of the burly man.

"You do?" she asked in surprise.

"Yeah! She's a hot little number... With her wild style, I'm willing to bet she's a tigress in the sack..." Hunter gave her an almost sly smile, then chuckled. "But somehow, she seems to have eyes only for Pretty Boy..."

Torrie bit her lip gently as she studied the man. Too bad there was no way of making Edge and Lita break up.

Then, as though reading her thoughts, Triple H spoke again.

"I have a little proposition for you, Torrie..." He leaned in closer and continued. "What do you say you and I... We work together to tear the happy couple apart?"

The tall platinum blonde's face broke into a smile. She nodded before giving her answer.

"Ooh, I like that idea, Hunter..." Her grin widened, the dimples showing clearly through her cheeks, and she twirled a finger through a lock of platinum as she met his eyes. "My answer is *yes*..."
