On SmackDown, Edge was first seen in the hallway, arriving at the arena and later talking with Alicia Fox. Later,
he held an edition of The Cutting Edge and sat amidst tables, ladders and chairs set up in the ring. The Rated R Superstar seemed most serious and focused
as he sat down and talked about The Undertaker and Hell In a Cell against him that awaits him at SummerSlam. He then approached Mick Foley at the announce
table and asked him into the ring. Appealing to Foley's past history with the Dead Man, Edge asked for his help. Foley declined and stated that the only
person who could help Edge was Edge - but that he needs to look into himself and find the Edge whom he calls "the greatest superstar in WWE." The former
World Champion seemed to be taking it all in stride until he suddenly attacked Mick. They took it out of the ring, where Foley slammed Edge into the
announce table, but then Edge countered with a Spear. Back in the ring, Mick got him with the Mandible Claw, but Edge delivered a low-blow. He then set
Foley onto a table and climbed a ladder with a steel chair in hand, leaping onto Mick with it.
