Adam Weekly - Issue # 75                    

Hi, and welcome back to a new issue! Last week, the column took a small hiatus due to the fact that I didn't really know what to write because it seemed like I would repeat myself from the previous week. Well, we're back now after the events from this past RAW!

As you all know, Edge didn't have a match this past week on RAW. But he did appear, as he accompanied Lita for her match against Maria. As any good boyfriend in the WWE should do, he stood ringside for his lady's match. I have to say that I was extremely pleased that he did so, because how many countless times has Lita stood ringside for his matches? It's only fair that Edge return the favor, so to speak!

So, after Lita made quick work of Maria, of course, she and Edge had to try and set up for a Spear on the backstage interviewer. This was the exact same thing that happened last month that put the wheels in motion for the mixed tag team match between the couple and Maria and John Cena. This time, however, it was to set up for Mick Foley running out for the save. It was inevitable. And after the expected brawl and after Lita jumped on Foley's back to give her man a hand, Edge honed his heeldom to epic proportions. He delivered a conchairto to Mick and then called for a mic to respond to the Hardcore match challenge issued the prior week. Of course, Edge gladly accepted that challenge.

What can we expect next? Saturday Day Night's Main Event is just around the corner, up in one week. So far, Edge has not been added to the card, but I think we can safely bet that he and Lita will appear. Whether or not he'll be in a match remains to be seen. At the very least, I expect him to appear and at least give a promo. As for tomorrow night's RAW, only time can tell what is in the cards for Edge.
