Adam Weekly - Issue # 74                    

Hello, and welcome to a brand new issue of Adam Weekly!

This past week on RAW, we expectedly saw an extremely angry Edge and Lita hit the ring early in the night. Since they immediately marched out there right after the diva battle royal (in which, in a disappointing turn, Lita was NOT a part of), I fully expected Lita to attack the winner, Candice Michelle. That, of course, did not happen, but it was fun hearing Edge tell her to get the hell out of HIS ring (calling her "Toots" as he did so, lol). The pressing issue at hand, was Mick Foley. Edge accused Foley of costing him his dream of being WWE Champion and thus issued a challenge to him for a match at WrestleMania 22. After that, he addressed Hacksaw Jim Duggan and furiously mentioned strangers on the street and all over calling his girlfriend a "ho." Lita then took the microphone from him and called Duggan out, and the inevitable Edge vs Hacksaw match took place.

I thought this match was a great idea, because it proved to all the haters that Edge does truly love and care for Lita. It basically was a matter of him defending her honor after all the insults. And of course, the best part of all was that Edge emerged the victor. He and Lita added insult to injury (literall) by low-blowing Duggan with his own 2x4.

So now this leaves us with the impending Edge vs Mick Foley match at WrestleMania 22. It was rumored to be happening, and Mick has since responded to Edge's challenge in his blog, Foley is Blog, on WWE.com. He says something about not showing up on RAW this coming week so as to allow Edge to stew in his own juices for the time being, but will he do that after all? I guess we'll only get our answer to that question by tuning in tomorrow night!
