Adam Weekly - Issue # 58

Hi there, and welcome to this week's issue. Well, there is plenty to discuss this week, isn't there? Let's get onto it, then.

How many skeptics were there since the Loser Leaves RAW Money in the Bank Ladder match was announced? And I'm not just talking about the obvious, the MFers and Edge haters... No, no - some of you guys reading this who are Edgeheads were skeptics, and you know it. Hahaha, how wrong you guys were in doubting our fearless Edge! Like I said last week, I knew I'd be watching that match at Homecoming with baited breath, but I still knew Edge would win. There were so many clues pointing to his victory than to him losing. And it was a great match, too. How awesome were some of those spots? And I totally loved the ending and how Lita got physically involved! It was priceless, and dare I say, poetic justice!

So, now that Matt Hardy is out of the way after being the loser in this match, what's next on the horizon for Edge? There are rumors swirling around that Shelton Benjamin could be his next feud, but it seems more likely that it'll be with someone like the Big Show. At this point, he should be going after John Cena and the WWE Championship, but Cena is not quite finished with Kurt Angle yet. While it doesn't bother me tremendously if Edge feuds next with Big Show, I would much rather see him go up against Shelton. A feud between the two would be pure gold! Shelty is one of the best wrestlers in the entire WWE (I rank him in the top 5). He is a high flyer, which Edge used to be before his neck injury, yet at the same time, he can mat wrestle with the best of them. Edge isn't too shabby on the mat with the submission holds, either, so this would make for very, very entertaining, gripping matches.

All in all, I'm excited to see where Edge goes next. Now that the thorn in both his and Lita's side, Hardy, is gone (most likely to turn up on SmackDown one of these days), the door is wide open. I don't know who he'll be facing tomorrow night on RAW, but I'm anxious to find out. If it is Shelton, I'll be really happy. If it's Big Show, that'll be fine by me, too. Of course, the most important thing is seeing Edge chase after the WWE title, so if he were to jump John Cena, that would make me happy as well.

That does it for this week's Adam Weekly. Tune in to USA tomorrow night for RAW, and come back here next week for a new issue!
