Adam Weekly - Issue # 33                    

Hi, and welcome to an all new issue of Adam Weekly! This week, I've decided to discuss a topic that's been delved into quite a lot lately on a lot of wrestling news sites.

It seems that, lately, no one can stop speculating about Edge cutting off his long blond locks and getting a whole new image and entrance. I've been reading all over the place (well, mostly at Yahoo! groups, since I haven't been to an actual wrestling news site in a couple of weeks) that the WWE wants Adam to get a short haircut ala Test and Christian, the two formerly long-haired blond Canadians before him; and these same "reports" are stating that so far, he's refused. Another part of this rumor is that he's supposedly going to be dyeing his hair black.

All that said, I don't know where these so-called "wrestling news" sites are getting their info from. Any of you who have read the interview Edge did with SilverVision.uk.co know that the above is all absolutely not true. *He* himself has said that he's sick of his long hair and that if it were up to him, he'd have cut it by now. Yet, it's the WWE office that won't give him the go-ahead because they don't want him to change his image.

Which brings me to... Personally, I love Edge's hair long, but if he wants to cut it, it's *his* hair after all, lol. I'm hoping if he does cut it, he'll just trim it a bit and have it similar to the way Chris Jericho cut his hair awhile back. It would still be long, but definitely shorter. But if he gets a new 'do ala Christian, I can't picture Edge with the same kind of entrance and stuff. Somehow, it just wouldn't be the same. It's hard to explain, but Edge with short hair just wouldn't be as mysterious. I dunno... Anyone with me on this?

Obviously, it's inevitable that the hair will be cut sooner or later, whenever the office people buckle under and let Edge go ahead and do it. Oh well, but I know I'll still love him regardless. Come back next week for an all new issue! Be sure to watch RAW tomorrow night, and maybe we'll be lucky enough to see Edge take down another member of Evolution a few notches (Flair, this time)!
