Adam Weekly - Issue # 29                    

Hello, and welcome to this week's issue. Today, I'm going to discuss what I think the WWE should do with Edge and Chris Benoit.

The World Tag Team championship has to be acknowledged and defended, not ignored. Not that I'm complaining that Edge had an Intercontinental Title shot against Randy Orton last week, but the tag titles were only defended once since Benoit and Edge defeated Batista and Ric Flair. But I'd like to see the belts defended against established tag teams (ala La Resistance) and makeshift teams the WWE might throw together.

Maybe the Tag Championships should be defended on RAW every other week... That way, Benoit can concentrate on defending his World title on the other weeks, and Edge can chase after the IC strap. It seems that what happens when someone becomes a double champion in the company, the 'lesser' title gets neglected, which is the case here.

The current World Tag title holders were a team for awhile on SmackDown back around late 2002/early 2003. They seemed on their way to a championship reign and were an awesome team, so it's cool that they had a chance to shine together again on RAW. I think they can hold onto the belts for a decent amount of time, but once again, THEY NEED THE CHANCE TO SHOW WHAT THEY CAN DO - further than their first two matches.
