WWE.com: Having never been in an Elimination Chamber Match, do you feel at a disadvantage going into this match?

Edge: I don’t think it does give me a disadvantage. If you know anything about my career, you know that I’m a veteran of TLC matches – I was one of the first people to compete in that type of match, and put it on the map. I’m a survivor of ladder matches, table matches, and cage matches. I’ve been involved in some of the most vicious matches in the history of WWE, so no, I have no problem stepping into the Elimination Chamber. Is it dangerous? Yeah. Am I a dangerous guy? Hell yeah!

WWE.com: What do you think that you bring to the match that sets you apart from the five other Superstars?

Edge: I think that my anger sets me apart. I don’t like anyone. There’s not one person in that match I like. I have no affiliations, and I think you’ll have people who will try and work together, and it won’t work. I’ll just sit back in the shadows, and I’ll pick my opportunities. I’m too smart. That’s what I have over everyone.

WWE.com: How does Shawn Michaels being named the special guest referee affect this match? Is it positive or negative?

Edge: Negatively of course. In fact, the only thing that I have going against me is the fact that the “Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels is going to be the special referee. Obviously he’s not going to be objective in this. Obviously he’s got a score to settle with me. And I think that he’s going to take that cheap opportunity to do it. I have to be cognizant of that fact to make sure that it doesn’t happen, and walk out of New Year’s Revolution the World Heavyweight Champion. And if I do, than I’ll prove that no matter what kind of screws this company tried to put to me. It doesn’t matter what kind of screws Shawn Michaels, Chris Benoit, Randy Orton, Batista, Triple H or Chris Jericho try to put to me, because I will still come out of this the Champion. I’ve always said I deserve the World Heavyweight Title, and this is my chance to prove it.

WWE.com: Who’s the one guy you’d like to see eliminated first, so that you won’t have to worry about him later on in the match?

Edge: Chris Benoit, because he and I have a lot of history, and we know each other really well, especially right now, coming off of everything we’ve just been through. He knows what I’m about to do before I do it, and I know what he’s about to do before he does it. There’s an extra special hatred that he and hold for each other, and hatred plus the Elimination Chamber equals someone getting hurt.

WWE.com: Finally, what are or aren’t you willing to do in order to guarantee that you walk out of New Year’s Revolution the World Heavyweight Champion?

Edge: I’m willing to do anything – absolutely anything.
