Like a Circle

Stacy Keibler was upset nearly to the point of tears as she entered the women's locker room. Her slim hands balled into fists, she let out a groan of displeasure, drawing the attention of the other divas who were currently present.

"Stace? What's the matter?"

The question came from Lita, a look of concern on the redhead's face as she neared the leggy blonde.

"One word - Test!"

Victoria, halfway across the room, arched an eyebrow as she glanced over her shoulder at them.

Lita rolled her eyes at hearing the name of Stacy's now ex- boyfriend. She'd always found him to be a jerk and had been glad when the blonde diva had told him off and given him the heave-ho for good.

"What did he do *this* time?"

"He won't take 'no' for an answer!" the leggy young woman cried, throwing her hands up in a helpless gesture. "He's in complete denial! It's like I never even broke up with him - he's always trying to make a move on me, no matter how many times I remind him it's over."

Before the redhead could reply, Victoria approached them.

"What a jerk... Want me to punch him out for you?" The raven-haired woman punched her right fist into her open left hand for emphasis.

"I wish I could just do that *myself*!"

"There's a so-called 'man' *I'd* like to do the same thing to," Lita piped in. "Namely, *my* wonderful ex-boyfriend."

"Ugh... Can't say I blame you, Firefly..." This time, a new voice had spoken, and the three divas turned to see Ivory behind them. The brunette wrinkled her nose in disgust as she thought about Matt Hardy, and how he'd cheated on Lita, his longtime girlfriend - with that trashy skank Torrie Wilson. Worst of all, *Matt* had been the one to break up with the redhead rather than the reverse. It was sickening.

"But..." Dawn Marie began from her spot across the room. "When you really think about it, Matt's the one who's *really* being punished." She let out a derisive laugh. "I mean, let's not forget that he's now with *Whorrie*!"

Stacy nodded, making a face of disgust.

"Yeah, I've gotta go with Dawn - that *is* a great punishment." Although she'd once considered Torrie Wilson to be her best friend, the trampy blonde had displayed her true colors shortly after they'd joined the WWE.

The door suddenly opened, and an annoyed Molly Holly entered. After slamming the locker room door, the petite brunette shook her head, muttering nearly under her breath.

"*Who's* an asshole?" Victoria questioned curiously.

"Triple H!" the Women's champion replied. "He cornered me out in the hallway, asking me if I'm really a virgin - because he wants to 'break me in' if I *am*!"

"What a pig!" Lita exclaimed. "I hope you kneed him in the nuts!"

"I *didn't*, but believe me when I say I *wanted* to. If he bugs me again, I can't be held responsible for what I do to him." The brunette shook her head, the expression on her face growing steadily angrier.

"You know," Stacy said, "I've recently come to the conclusion that men just plain suck..."

"Sweetie, you aren't saying anything I haven't known for years," Ivory said, a somewhat sorrowful expression coming to her face. She reached out and began to absently play with the tall blonde's long hair. "It's sad, but true. Men *do* suck, and I'm ready to pretty much give up on them altogether."

Victoria cocked her head as she regarded the older woman.

"You really mean that?"

The brunette nodded.

"Unfortunately, yes, I *do*."

"So do I," Lita cut in. "I'm with you on that, Ive - I'm *sick* of men. All the men in my life over the last few years have done nothing but use and abuse me - except for Jeff, who disappeared on me. I've had it..."

"I think I'm going to join you on that sentiment," Victoria added sadly.

Dawn Marie's jaw dropped with surprise, and now with the rest of the group, she reached out and touched the other diva's shoulder.

"I thought you were really happy with Stevie!"

The muscular woman made a face.

"I *was*, but that was until I caught him making out with Miss Jackie in his locker room..." she said dryly.

"Oh, that does it," Ivory said. "Lita, I know *you're* with me... Who else is with us to swear off men?"

"I am..." Stacy said, her voice sounding small and sad.

The remaining divas - Victoria, Dawn Marie and Molly, all followed suit - and so it was decided, between the six of them - no more men...
