So I first found out about the 2007 Megafest Wrestling Convention off this website called ProWrestling.com. I liked the link to the website and I started checking out who was gonna be there. I saw Dawn Marie, Spike Dudley, Romeo Roselli, Sid Vicious, Doink the Clown, Terry Funk, Dory Funk, Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman (X-pac), Scott Hall, and a bunch of other people. At that point I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to go yet. So I kept scrolling down the page and then I saw Lita’a name on the list. Once I saw her name I was like I AM DEFINETLY GOING TO THIS! Lol. So I told my dad about and he was like, ‘I think I got something to do that day’, but he was only kidding. He likes busting my chops. Lol. After two weeks went by I kinda forgot about the whole wrestling convention until by dad brought it up the night before. I was like ‘Can we go please! All you have to do is drop me off there then you can leave.’ So be like ‘Let me talk to your mother and we’ll see what happens’. So he ends up not telling my mother until hours before it starts and she was like ‘How much is this gonna cost and what time is this thing end?’ So my dad tells her it’s gonna cost $30 and it’s from 6-9pm. She then said to me ‘Do you have $30?’ I was like ‘Yeah’. Then she asked me where I got the money from and I told her I saved it up. So she said whatever go ahead take her to my dad and then she asked my brother if he wanted to go and he was like ‘I’ll go’, but he couldn’t get an autograph cause he had no money. Lol. So later on the way to the convention I was so excited that I was going to finally meet Lita. On the way be saw a bunch of funny things. This guy had mattress tied down to his car and he did do a very good job cause it was about to blow off and he had to hold it down with his hand. Lol. It was pretty funny. We were joking about it blowing off and stuff. Lol. We also were using the gps on my dad’s phone and it when we reached Merrick Road (the street the wrestling convention was on) it told us to go the opposite direction of the place, but we found it. We parked and then we waited on a line that went into the back of the place. We waited in the same spot for about a half hour – forty-five minutes before we moved. Then when we were right outside the door Terry Funk came out cause he was leaving, so I got to see him for a few minutes. Then as we were walking in the security guy looked just like Bobby Lashley. So we get and we waited in the hall before going into one of the two rooms that had wrestler. So as we were right by the door Lita walked out. Everyone was like ‘Lita where you going?’ and she was like ‘I’m going to pee, I’ll be right back’. Lol I was pretty funny. So we’ve been on the line about two hours now and my brother starts complaining cause he’s bored, I was like ‘You wanted to come’ and he was like ‘I’m bored, this is so boring’ and my dad is like ‘this is what it’s like all the time when we get autographs’. My brother was like ‘I’m not coming next time’, and I started laughing. So we're about half-way to the table where Lita was signing and the table next to her had X-pac, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall. So then they get up and everyone was like “Where you guys going?’ so Nash was like ‘We’ll be right back’ so they come back about 5 minutes later. X-pac starts giving everyone high fives which was pretty cool. After that my dad takes out his camera and he says ‘You want me to take picture of Lita till someone tells me go away?’ so I was like ‘Yeah’ so he takes pictures all the way up until it’s my turn to get Lita’s autograph. So I said ‘Hi’ to her and she said ‘Hi’ back and then she asked if I wanted her to make the autograph out to me and I was like ‘yeah’ so I tell her my name and she signs her book the I brought cause I brought the book she wrote (Lita: A Less Traveled Road –The Reality of Amy Dumas) so she signs it and then I have my picture taken with her and then I went home. As soon as I got home I hung the picture of us up in my bedroom on the wall where I have all my other autographs. That day was the best day ever!
